THE FUTURE...
"Overall employment of cosmetologists, and other personal appearance workers is projected to grow slightly faster than the average for all occupations. Opportunities for entry level workers should be favorable, while job candidates at high-end establishments will face keen compe-tition." ~ Will you be ready?
THE PRESENT...
The JLA staff are here to give you more than a basic education. We're here to give you a future, an edge, an advantage. If you desire only an entry level position, that's fine, you'll be more than qualified. However, if you want more...to aim higher...to shoot for the stars, then what you learn at JLA will assist you in achieving those goals.

Why would I want to become an instructor?
As an Instructor, you can share and extend your love of cosmetology and all that it entails with others. Passing on the skills, values and knowledge to the next generation of students.
Or you can take those special skills necessary for instructing others and become a product representative for beauty industry product and equipment manufacturers.
Instructor Training (300 hours; 2-3 months)
The instructor training program trains licensed professionals in Cosmetology, Aesthetics, and Nail Technology to become classroom instructors. Our program offers hands-on experience in a creative and exciting learning environment.
