We have classes starting every month for some programs and every 10 weeks for Cosmetology.

Our tuition cost includes, books, uniforms, kits and registration fee

Clock Hour Programs

Job Placement

The Jenny Lea Academy of Cosmetology provides employment assistance, professional appearance guidelines, and follow-up to its students and graduates.  School records may be made available to prospective employers to demonstrate the students’ qualifications for employment provided the student authorizes release of those records in writing.  The school does not guarantee students a job after completion of the course; however, area shops are continually contacting the school to make them aware of the openings and this information is then posted on the student bulletin board and job referrals are made available to qualified students.

YES WE ACCEPT TRANSFER HOURS

As a Pivot Point member school, Jenny Lea Academy of Cosmetology has opted to utilized Pivot Point online access resources for students and instructors. We are pleased with the ease of use and success we have had using Online Pivot Point to support our cosmetology curriculum.

With Online Pivot Point, students can watch DVD on Color, Hair Design, Texture, Chemistry, Skin Care, etc., from any computer that has internet access.  Additionally our students can follow along with the school curriculum from home or anywhere they have internet access; they can take chapter practice quiz anytime and have access to additional resources that previously were available only to the instructors.

As a result of the added resources available to our students through Online Pivot Point, we are pleased to announce that starting May 1, 2011, the Jenny Lea Academy of Cosmetology will accept all transfer hours from other institutions. Note, while we accept all hours, it will be up to the transfer students to ensure that they reach the same knowledge level as our Jenny Lea Academy students who started in Phase 1. We will provide all resources and material necessary to aid transfer students to reach the level of a Pivot Point student at the school.
